Making A Difference

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
- Margaret Mead

Find something you are passionate about and share your talents, time, and energy. You may have a skill set that is in demand at many organizations that are running on a shoestring budget. While something may come easy to you, there are others that can only dream of that talent. Your knowledge and experience could prove invaluable to your community.

I tend to sell myself short. While something may seem easy to me, there are others that would benefit from my assistance. We all have gifts, it is up to us to present them to others who are in need of our services.

I have joined many non-profits in my community because I thought I might have something to offer. If nothing more than my time and attendance, I am showing I care. I am making a difference because I am willing to put myself out there and share what I can with who needs it.

Alone I am one voice, but when I join with others, we can be heard.
